- Getting Started – This course shows you how to start a garden from scratch and plant it out the same day.
- Seeds and Seedlings – Fed up with buying expensive seedlings that often fail? This course shows you how to grow from seed and produce healthy, acclimatized seedlings.
- Composting – The secret to successful organic gardening is compost. It’s much easier than you think. This course will demonstrate different methods to produce compost, so you can choose the way that works for you.
Introduction to Permaculture
Permaculture Design Certificate
- With: Jane Growns
- When: 2008 December 12, 13, 15-17 and January 2009 16, 17, 19-21
- Where: 223 Taylor St, Armidale and different venues in and around the region
- What: This is the internationally recognised 72 hour Permaculture Design
Certificate, which helps you to design your land, or another's, to high standards of sustainability
- You will: Visit local gardens and talk to owners
Complete 12 hours of practical work
- Workload: Lots of observation and deduction
Analyse and design your own home or land for future sustainability
Work with a small team to design a larger piece of land
- Outcomes: A good plan for your place
An understanding of the ethical use of money
Garden and design skills
Personal empowerment to effect change for good
Meet a great group of people
A new delight in gardens and wonder of nature
- Cost: $800 per person (or $665 if you have done the Introduction
to Permaculture Course with LivinLightly)
