Nioka is a 1 acre property on the edge of Armidale and Jane has been developing it using permaculture principles since January 2002, altough a full permaculture design was not completed until Decmber 2006.

We have been retrofitting the house for more water and energy efficiency, as well as starting a vegie garden using Linda Woodrow's chook dome system - we have a double mandala system now almost completed.
